The National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA) has recently revised their Key Indicator and Differential Monitoring Website. I would highly recommend that individuals who are engaged in licensing, monitoring, regulatory science, and/or regulatory administration activities take a look at the website. It has a wealth of information related to licensing, monitoring, regulatory science, differential monitoring, key indicators, risk assessment, program evaluation, and many other areas.
The website contains many resources, publications, foundational studies, and research reports that highlight the key elements of differential monitoring, key indicators, and risk assessment methodologies providing the theory and empirical evidence to support these approaches. The interested reader can learn more about the theory of regulatory compliance which the methodologies are all based upon. The textbook for Regulatory Compliance and Monitoring Systems is available for reading online or downloading. And all the Journal of Regulatory Science articles focusing on the theory and paradigm are available in their entirety, as well as research readings and abstracts.
