I have reported on this blog several times about the wonderful and interesting work being done in the Province of Saskatchewan, Canada. They continue to amaze as they have taken their early childhood Quality indicator project and are going to scale in expanding to all their child care facilities in the Province.

Below is the background research to the project as well as the 2024 edition of the quality tool and its supporting documentation (the original key indicator, risk assessment, and differential monitoring project was a collaborative effort with the National Association for Regulatory Administration (NARA)). Anyone interested in enhancing their child care program needs to take a look at these documents. This is the best example of the full implementation of differential monitoring from key indicators, risk assessment to quality indicators.

The Saskatchewan Provincial Staff have done a wonderful job in pursuing this project and are making a tremendous contribution to the Early Care and Education field.

The first attachment contains all the relevant documents followed by the individual documents if people prefer to read them in that fashion. For the interested reader, you will find a badge which is from the World Forum Foundation for Early Care and Education designating the Saskatchewan Early Childhood Quality Indicators Project as a Child Impact Initiative. Congratulations to the Saskatchewan Provincial Staff within the Ministry of Education!!
